The Parks, Trails and Trees Committee works with Public Works to identify new opportunities for outdoor activities in the Town of Platteville. The Committee holds regular meetings at Town Hall on the third Monday of each month at 6:30 p.m. Responsibilities The Town of Platteville has been recognized by the Arbor Day Foundation as one of the Tree City USA communities. Tree City USA proudly celebrates the importance of an urban tree canopy and promotes the care of these vital city trees. Goals The goal of the Platteville Parks, Trails and Trees Committee is to increase and maintain the urban forest that is part of our landscape.
